Roald Dahl Story Day was on the 13th of September, so in honour of his amazing works, I bought a stack of them for our OverDrive eBooks collection!

I've featured The Witches over there, as it's going to be released as a movie in 2021. A movie version was released many years ago, and it was a LITTLE bit scary...but by the sounds of this, the new one will leave that in the dust!

There are the well-known books - such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The BFG and The Twits - but I've also grabbed others that perhaps aren't as well known. They include The Magic Finger, Danny the Champion of the World and George's Marvellous Medicine.

I will always recommend Matilda, which is one of my all-time favourite books, but seriously, you can't go wrong with a Road Dahl book. Especially in these times where you can do with a bit of a light, fun read that might well give you a great laugh!
